Bill Griffith
Bill Griffith, born William Henry Jackson Griffith in 1944, is an American cartoonist best known for creating the surreal daily comic strip Zippy the Pinhead, famous for its catchphrase 'Are we having fun yet?' He began his career in New York in 1969, moved to San Francisco in 1970 to join the underground comix movement, co-edited Arcade with Art Spiegelman, and has produced graphic novels and taught at the School of Visual Arts.
