Bill Gibson

William Ford Gibson, known as Bill Gibson, is an American-Canadian speculative fiction writer and a founding figure of the cyberpunk subgenre of science fiction. His debut novel, Neuromancer (1984), won the Hugo, Nebula, and Philip K. Dick Awards and helped establish the genre's aesthetic. He is also known for coining the term 'cyberspace' in his short story 'Burning Chrome'.
