Bhartrihari

Bhartrihari was an Indian poet-grammarian and philosopher of language, traditionally associated with Ujjain. He is best known for the Sanskrit treatise Vakyapadiya, which explores the philosophy of language, and for the poetic anthology Śatakatraya, a three-part collection of verses on ethics, love, and renunciation.
