Beverly Lewis
Beverly Marie Lewis (née Jones) is an American Christian fiction novelist born in 1949 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the heart of Amish country.[1][4] She is best known as the mother of the Amish Romance genre, having written over 100 books for children and adults, including numerous bestselling Amish fiction series.[1][2] A former schoolteacher and accomplished musician who began writing at age nine, Lewis has become a New York Times bestselling author whose works explore Anabaptist heritage and Old Order Amish culture.[1][5]
