Beth Goobie

Beth Goobie is a Canadian poet and fiction writer known for her dark, quirky young adult novels and award-winning work, including Before Wings, which won the Canadian Library Association’s Young Adult Book Award. She grew up in Guelph, Ontario, studied at the University of Winnipeg, later worked with abused children and teens, and has also written poetry and adult fiction.
