Berlitz

Charles Berlitz was a renowned linguist, author, and grandson of Berlitz language school founder Maximilian Berlitz, who studied languages at Yale and worked in the family publishing business.[1][2] He gained widespread fame for his bestselling book *The Bermuda Triangle* (1974), which popularized paranormal mysteries, alongside works on Atlantis and languages.[1][2][3] Berlitz continued writing on fringe topics and language instruction until his death in 2003.[1][2]
