Benny Tucker

Benjamin Ricketson Tucker (1854-1939) was a prominent American individualist anarchist, editor, publisher, and translator who championed liberty and opposed state authority, monopolies, interest, rent, and profits derived from legal privileges. He founded and edited the influential journals *The Radical Review* (1877-1878) and *Liberty* (1881-1908), and introduced English translations of key anarchist works by Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, Max Stirner, and others to North American audiences. Influenced by figures like Josiah Warren, Lysander Spooner, and William Batchelder Greene, Tucker advocated for egoism, free love, and the moral and industrial emancipation of workers through voluntary associations.[1][2][3][5]
