Benjamin Jones
Benjamin Jones is an American economist and academic known for his work on innovation, including the Burden of Knowledge theory, which explains increasing specialization in science and invention. He is the Gordon and Llura Gund Family Professor in Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, with affiliations at the National Bureau of Economic Research and Brookings Institution. Jones graduated from Princeton University, studied as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford, and earned his PhD from MIT.
