Benjamin Franklin Cobb
Benjamin Franklin Cobb (1842-1918) was a Confederate soldier who served in Company C ('the Chattahoochee Beauregards'), 10th Georgia Regiment during the American Civil War. He is known for his personal account of the 1864 Battle of Cedar Creek, which he wrote from memory in 1907 at the age of 65. His memoir provides a firsthand perspective on one of the war's significant engagements.
