Ben Hogan

William Ben Hogan was an American professional golfer widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the game. He won nine major championships, helped define modern golf swing theory, and became famous for his comeback after a severe 1949 automobile accident. He also authored the influential instruction book *Ben Hogan's Five Lessons* and founded the Ben Hogan Company.
