Ben Davis

Ben A. Davis is an American art critic and writer who analyzes art and art theory from a Marxist perspective. He is best known for the book *9.5 Theses on Art and Class* and for *Art in the After-Culture: Capitalist Crisis and Cultural Strategy*, a later collection of cultural essays.
