Basil H. Johnston

Basil H. Johnston was an Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) author, storyteller, linguist, and teacher known for writing about Anishinaabe traditions, language, and modern life. He published books in both English and Anishinaabemowin and was widely respected as a preserver of Indigenous oral and written culture in Canada.
