Barry Devlin

Barry Daniel Devlin, born on 27 November 1946, is an Irish musician, screenwriter, and director best known as a founding member of the Celtic rock band Horslips. He wrote the screenplay for the BBC One drama series My Mother and Other Strangers (2016-2017), episodes of Ballykissangel and The Darling Buds of May, and directed many of U2's music videos in the 1980s.[1][2]
