Barbra Streisand is an American singer, actress, songwriter, director, and producer renowned for her achievements across multiple entertainment fields, including two Oscars, ten Grammys, five Emmys, a Tony, and eleven Golden Globes.[1][2][4] She rose to fame with her Broadway debut in 'Funny Girl' in 1964, winning an Academy Award for Best Actress in the 1968 film adaptation, and became the first woman to direct, produce, write, and star in a major motion picture with 'Yentl' in 1983.[1][4] Over six decades, she has set attendance records in concerts and released numerous chart-topping albums.[1][2][5]
