Barbara Holub

Barbara Holub is an Austrian artist, architect, and photographer born in 1959 in Stuttgart, Germany, who lives and works in Vienna. She served as the president of the Secession Vienna from 2006 to 2007, becoming the first woman to lead the artists' association, and co-founded the transdisciplinary practice transparadiso with architect Paul Rajakovics. Her work explores social and personal identities through visual art, urban intervention, and architecture.
