Barbara Hilkert Andolsen

Barbara Hilkert Andolsen is a feminist theologian and scholar in Christian ethics, installed as Fordham University’s first James and Nancy Buckman Chair in Applied Christian Ethics in 2022, where she delivered a lecture on hope, racism, and Catholic social thought.[1] She previously served as Associate Professor and Helen Bennett McMurray Professor of Social Ethics at Monmouth University and as a visiting professor at Harvard Divinity School, and she co-edited the influential 'A Reader in Feminist Ethics' in 1985.[2][3] Andolsen is widely published on topics including agape in feminist ethics and social ethics.[4]
