Barack Obama
Barack Hussein Obama II, born August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii, is an American author and politician who served as the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017, becoming the first African American to hold the office. Before his presidency, he worked as a community organizer in Chicago, taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago, served in the Illinois State Senate from 1997 to 2004, and as a U.S. Senator from Illinois from 2005 to 2008. He has authored notable books including 'Dreams from My Father,' 'The Audacity of Hope,' and 'A Promised Land.'
