Baek Sehee
Baek Se-hee (1990–2025) was a South Korean author best known for her memoir I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki (2018) and its sequel, which detailed her decade-long psychiatric treatment for dysthymia. Born into a humble family in Goyang as the second of three sisters, she studied creative writing at Dongguk University and worked for five years as a social media director at a publishing house. She passed away at age 35 in a hospital in Goyang, with her organs donated afterward.[1][2]
