B. J. Chute

B. J. Chute was the pen name of Beatrice Joy Chute (1913–1987), an American novelist, short-story writer, and academic from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She first gained recognition writing juvenile sports fiction under the assumption that B. J. Chute was a man, and later became best known for her novel Greenwillow (1956).
