B. Holldobler

Bert Hölldobler is a German zoologist, evolutionary biologist, and sociobiologist known for his pioneering research on ants and social insect behavior. He co-authored the Pulitzer Prize-winning book *The Ants* with E. O. Wilson, and his work has helped explain communication, division of labor, and social organization in ant societies.
