Axel Pressler

Axel Pressler, MD, is a German cardiologist and researcher affiliated with Technische Universität Munich. He led a 2017 study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology investigating the effects of repeated marathon running on vascular health, concluding that it does not pose an independent risk for premature vascular impairment or subclinical atherosclerosis.
