Austin Pendleton
Austin Pendleton is an acclaimed American actor, director, playwright, and acting teacher known for his prolific six-decade career in theater, film, and television.[1][3] He originated the role of Motel the Tailor in the Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof and has appeared in over 250 films including Catch-22, What's Up, Doc?, and The Muppet Movie, as well as recurring TV roles in Oz and Homicide.[1][2][7] Pendleton has directed notable productions like The Little Foxes (Tony-nominated) and Three Sisters (Obie-winning), and written plays such as Orson's Shadow, Uncle Bob, and Booth.[2][3]
