Aurelio Baldor
Aurelio Baldor (Aurelio Ángel Baldor de la Vega) was a Cuban mathematician, educator, writer, and lawyer best known for his influential secondary-school textbook "Álgebra de Baldor," first published in 1941. He founded the Baldor School in Havana, which became a major educational institution, and later emigrated to the United States after the Cuban Revolution.
