Augusta Lynn Bolles

Augusta Lynn Bolles was an American anthropologist and professor emerita at the University of Maryland, where her work focused on women, labor, gender relations, and tourism in the Caribbean, Latin America, and the United States. She published numerous books and articles, including _Women and Tourist Work in Jamaica_, and was recognized for her scholarship on Black women anthropologists and Caribbean women’s labor.
