August Wilson

August Wilson was an American playwright best known for his ten-play series, 'The Pittsburgh Cycle,' which chronicles the African American experience in the 20th century. He won two Pulitzer Prizes for Drama for 'Fences' (1987) and 'The Piano Lesson' (1990), and is considered one of the most significant voices in American theater.
