Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC)

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in June 1876 in Washington, D.C., that represents the nation's medical schools, teaching hospitals, and academic health societies. It provides critical services to its member institutions, including data from medical, education, and health studies, as well as consulting and advocacy for the advancement of medical education and healthcare.
