Associate Professor of Philosophy James Allen

James Vincent Allen (born 1959) is a Canadian philosopher and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Toronto. He specializes in ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, with particular expertise in ancient logic, semiotics, Aristotle, Stoicism, Epicureanism, Skepticism, and Galen's philosophy. He holds a BA from Yale University and a PhD from Princeton University.
