Ashok Swain
Ashok Swain is an Indian-born Swedish academic and public intellectual who serves as a Professor of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University in Sweden. He holds the UNESCO Chair on International Water Cooperation and is the founding editor-in-chief of the journal Environment & Security, with a focus on environmental security and transboundary water conflicts.
