Arthur Fleischmann

Arthur Fleischmann (1896-1990) was a Slovak-born sculptor who pioneered the use of perspex in sculpture. He initially qualified as a medical doctor but turned his full attention to sculpture in 1924. After periods in Bali and Australia, he settled in London in 1948, where he established himself as a notable sculptor creating public works.
