Arthur Chapman

Arthur Chapman (1873-1935) was an American poet, author, and journalist renowned for his cowboy poetry, including the famous poem 'Out Where the West Begins.' Born in Rockford, Illinois, he began his career at the Chicago Daily News in 1895, later working for the Denver Times and New York Herald Tribune. His works often featured the western vernacular and were set to music, gaining popularity in concert halls.
