Arthur C. McGiffert
Arthur Cushman McGiffert (1861–1933) was an American Protestant theologian and church historian known for his liberal theological views and influential writings on early Christianity and Protestant thought. He taught church history at Union Theological Seminary in New York, served as its president from 1917 to 1926, and authored major works such as *A History of Christianity in the Apostolic Age* and *A History of Christian Thought*.
