Arthur Allen

Arthur Allen is an American author and journalist born in 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio, who graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and began his career as a foreign correspondent for the Associated Press in Mexico, El Salvador, and Germany. Since 1995, he has focused on writing about biology, medicine, and public health for outlets like Smithsonian, The New York Times Magazine, POLITICO, and others.
