Ariel Simmons

Ariel Simmons is a former elite American fencer specializing in men's epee, who at age 16 became the first U.S. men's epee fencer since 2006 to win a world championship gold medal while representing Alliance Fencing Academy in The Woodlands, Texas.[3] He competed for Notre Dame as a 6-1 senior from Bellaire, Texas, attending Carnegie Vanguard High School,[4] and later served as an assistant fencing coach at Duke University after time at the Air Force Academy.[1] Simmons hails from Bellaire, Texas, and has a documented competitive history in international fencing.[5][6]
