Arco
Agustín Gómez-Arcos (1933–1998) was a Spanish writer born in Enix, Spain, who studied law but left university to pursue theater. Some of his works were banned under Franco's regime, leading him to emigrate to London in 1966 and then Paris in 1968, where he wrote novels primarily in French condemning the Francoist State. He died in Paris from cancer.
