AR Simmons

AR Simmons is an American author of crime, mystery, and thriller novels, best known for the Richard Carter mystery/suspense series set in the contemporary Ozarks. He grew up in the eastern Missouri Ozarks, served in the military, earned BA and MA degrees in history, and later became a public school teacher before turning to writing full time.
