Aquinas Thomas

Saint Thomas Aquinas (1225–1274) was an Italian Dominican friar, priest, philosopher, and theologian, renowned as the Angelic Doctor and one of the greatest thinkers of the medieval Catholic Church. Born into a wealthy family near Aquino, Italy, he joined the Dominican order against his family's wishes, studied under Albertus Magnus in Paris and Cologne, and taught at universities including Paris and Naples. He authored influential works like the Summa Theologiae and Summa contra Gentiles, synthesizing Aristotelian philosophy with Christian theology.[1][2][3]
