April Bernard

April Bernard is an American poet, novelist, essayist, and professor of English and creative writing at Skidmore College. Born in 1956 and raised in New England, she has published multiple poetry collections and novels, and her work has appeared in publications such as The New Yorker and The New York Review of Books.[2][4][6]
