Aparna Shewakramani is an Indian-American author, former attorney, and entrepreneur who rose to fame as a breakout star on Netflix's Emmy-nominated series Indian Matchmaking Seasons 1 and 2, becoming an advocate for women's voices in personal and professional spheres. She authored the memoir She's Unlikeable: And Other Lies That Bring Women Down, published in 2022, after practicing law for ten years following her JD from Vanderbilt Law and BA from Rice University.
