Anthony R Pratkanis

Anthony R. Pratkanis is a Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, specializing in social psychology, social influence, persuasion, prejudice reduction, fraud, and propaganda.[1][2][4] He earned his Ph.D. in 1984 from Ohio State University's social psychology program and is the co-author of books including Age of Propaganda: The Everyday Use and Abuse of Persuasion and Weapons of Fraud.[1] Pratkanis has consulted for government agencies, law enforcement, and the military, and founded the journal Social Influence.[1][2]
