Anthony J. Parel

Anthony Joseph Parel (1926–2025) was a Canadian historian, author, and academic who wrote and edited works on Thomas Aquinas, Niccolò Machiavelli, Mohandas Gandhi, and South Asian history. He was born in present-day Kerala, India, later became a naturalized Canadian citizen, and earned a doctorate in government from Harvard University in 1963.[1]
