Anthony Giddens
Anthony Giddens, Baron Giddens, is a prominent British sociologist born in 1938 who is renowned for his theory of structuration, which explores how individual agency and social structures interact to shape society. He has authored over 34 books published in at least 29 languages and served as director of the London School of Economics from 1997 to 2003. He is considered one of the most influential sociologists of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
