Anthony D Smith

Anthony D. Smith was a British historical sociologist and a professor emeritus of nationalism and ethnicity at the London School of Economics. He is widely regarded as one of the founders of nationalism studies and is known for developing the ethno-symbolist approach to the study of nations and ethnicity.
