Anthony Bourdain

Anthony Bourdain was an American chef, author, and television personality born on June 25, 1956, in New York City, who rose to fame with his 2000 memoir Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly, detailing the gritty realities of restaurant kitchens and his personal struggles with addiction.[1][2] He hosted popular TV shows like A Cook's Tour and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, traveling the world to explore culinary cultures and became executive chef at Brasserie Les Halles.[1] Bourdain was found dead on June 8, 2018, in Kaysersberg, France, from a reported suicide at age 61.[1][2]
