Anthea Fraser
Anthea Mary Fraser, born in 1930 in Lancashire, England, is a British novelist whose mother was also a published author; she began composing stories before she could write and started her professional career with short stories after the birth of her two daughters, publishing her first novel in 1970.[1][2][3][4] Her breakthrough came with the 1974 paranormal bestseller Laura Possessed, followed by supernatural novels, romantic suspense, and crime fiction, including the DCI David Webb and Rona Parish series; she served as secretary of the Crime Writers’ Association from 1986 to 1996.[1][2][3][4]
