Anne Rockwell
Anne Rockwell (1934–2018) was a prolific American author and illustrator who created over 200 beloved picture books during a six-decade career.[1] Her works ranged from board books for babies to biographies for young adults, and she collaborated frequently with her husband Harlow Rockwell and daughter Lizzy Rockwell.[1] She was largely self-taught and also worked in sculpture, needlepoint, and fine art.[1]
