Anne M Galvin

Anne M. Galvin is a cultural anthropologist and Associate Professor of Anthropology at St. John’s University. Her research focuses on globalization, colonialism, popular culture, the state, citizenship, political economy, and the Caribbean and African Diaspora; she also authored *Sound of the Citizens: Dancehall and Community in Jamaica* (2014).
