Anne M. Butler

Anne M. Butler was an American historian and author known for her work on the American West, especially the history of women and prostitution. She was Distinguished Trustee Professor Emerita at Utah State University and wrote several influential books, including 'Daughters of Joy, Sisters of Misery' and 'Across God's Frontiers.'
