Anna Pavord
Anna Pavord, born September 20, 1940, in Abergavenny, Wales, is a British author, journalist, and gardening expert known for her bestselling book The Tulip (1999) and other works on plants and gardening.[1][3] She served as gardening correspondent for The Independent for 30 years, associate editor of Gardens Illustrated, and contributed to publications like The Observer and Country Life, while also broadcasting on BBC and Channel 4.[1][3][4] Pavord, who graduated with honors from the University of Leicester in 1962, lives in Dorset, England, where she has gardened for over 40 years.[1][4]
