Anna Marie Sewell

Anna Marie Sewell is a Mi'gmaq, Anishinaabe, and Polish poet and performer born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, known for her poetry collections Fifth World Drum (2009) and For the Changing Moon: Poems and Songs (2018). She served as the poet laureate of Edmonton, Alberta, from 2011 to 2013 and integrates poetry, song, theater, and community arts in her multidisciplinary practice.
