Anna Botsford Comstock

Anna Botsford Comstock (1854–1930) was an American author, illustrator, educator, and leading figure in the nature-study movement. She became Cornell University's first female professor and is best known for The Handbook of Nature Study and her scientific illustrations.[1][2]
